Business Intelligence & Analytics

Our policy, statistics and research functions play a vital role in influencing CPF policies and operations. You can help the Board extract value from data assets for effective business decisions and policy making.  If you enjoy working with data to discover trends and patterns underlying them, this area is for you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business users to gather, analyse requirements and evaluate the viability and feasibility of implementing them.
  • Coordinate with technology and analytics teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Review business processes and initiate improvements; propose alternative solutions (if required) to improve the quality of the system solutions.
  • Develop test cases and coordinate with business users on testing to verify that business requirements are incorporated as per specifications.
  • Manage the project issues and risks to ensure deliverables are on track.

Requirements

  • Preferably 2 years of experience in working with business users to identify and prepare data elements required for data analytics.
  • Good combination of technical skills and/or business analysis with the ability to influence stakeholders, with strong experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis, system functional testing and documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills on quantitative data, data extraction and SQL queries.
  • Proficient in statistical and data visualisation tools such as SAS, Tableau, R and Python.
